Paper submission process
PP-RAI’2026 welcomes submissions related to any aspect or area of artificial intelligence / machine learning research. There are three types of submissions and it is up to the author(s) to decide which one of them they will use.
Regular papers (10-12 pages incl. bibliography) published in Springer
Regular papers must demonstrate scientific results, be original, and must not have been previously published or be under consideration for publication elsewhere. All submissions will be reviewed by experts in the field, with acceptance or rejection decisions made by the respective Track Chairs. Accepted regular papers (10-12 pages) will be presented in oral sessions. The PP-RAI’2026 Program Committee will decide if an accepted paper will be included in the conference proceedings published in Springer or in a shortened version (4-6 pages) published by the AGH University Press in the electronic form with ISBN. All regular papers will undergo a rigorous peer-review process and must adhere to the guidelines specified by the respective publishers.
Extended abstracts (2-4 pages)
Extended abstracts cater to researchers who aim to present their work and discuss it during PP-RAI but cannot publish it as a regular paper at the conference (e.g. due to security or formal issues) or who present preliminary research ideas that are not sufficiently developed to be presented in the form of a regular conference paper. As with regular papers, extended abstracts will be reviewed by experts in the field and the respective Track Chairs will decide on their acceptance or rejection. Extended abstracts will be included in the conference proceedings and they will all be presented as posters during the conference.
Business project summaries (1 page)
This track is mainly intended for participants from business willing to share their AI/ML-related projects, present and discuss them during the conference so as to receive feedback from both academia and (other) business participants. Business project summaries will not be published in the proceedings. Similarly to other types of submissions, they will be presented at the conference. When submitting the paper, the authors of business project summaries should choose the following track: Reports on AI Business Projects.
All submissions must be prepared using the appropriate templates (see below) and submitted in the form of a PDF file through the PP-RAI’2026 online submission system.
Submissions may be rejected without being sent to the reviewers if they do not comply with the required format, length or if they do not lie within the scope of the conference.
Each accepted paper (regular paper, extended abstract, business project summary) must be presented by one of the authors, who must register for the conference and pay the participation fee.

Review process results
Each paper will be reviewed. The following review outcomes are possible:
- Accepted regular paper – your paper has been accepted without the need for any changes. You now need to upload the final camera ready (publication) files – source files and the PDF file, together with a signed PDF file with a copyright agreement and perhaps other formal documents.
- Accepted extended abstract or business project summary – you may update the details of your submission, but you do not need to upload your source files.
- Revision of regular paper – you need to revise the paper and upload its new PDF version. If your paper has been accepted after revision, you will be asked for the camera ready (publication) files.
- Rejected (any form of submission) – your paper is not suitable for the conference.
Conference proceedings
Selected regular papers will be published in conference proceedings issued by the Springer publishing house in the series Lecture Notes in Networks and Systems.
Selected extended abstracts will be published by the AGH University Press in electronic form with ISBN.
